Cascading Style Sheet Design

At Bani Seven we use a CSS-based layout, which means that the layout and columns are placed using CSS instead of in a table grid. Using CSS-based layout is W3C recommended and results in cleaner code, which means that your pages load faster and search engines may rank your pages better than they would if they were in a table format. Bani Seven will always employ the most technologically advanced approaches to all of our projects

What's the difference between a tables-based and CSS design?

A tables-based design is where the layout is based on a grid created with HTML tables whereas a CSS-based layout is achieved through a separate Cascading Style Sheet. Some web designs may have tables-based layout, but use CSS only to define some fonts and colors.

Official web standards recommend the use of CSS to achieve layout, rather than using tables for layout. However, many developers who are accustomed to the tables-based layout find it challenging to transition over to CSS. Bani Seven uses a CSS-based layout on all of our websites so that the highest potential for Search Engine Optimization may be achieved.
